The Bardstown Foundation for Excellence in Public Education (BFEPE) is excited to share that mini-grant applications for this year are now open.
These grants are designed to support innovative ideas, classroom needs, and creative projects that directly impact students across Bardstown City Schools. Teachers can access the application here.

Application Timeline
Mini-grant applications are reviewed by the BFEPE Board at two meetings this year:
Applications submitted by March 4Â will be considered at the March 14Â board meeting
Applications submitted by April 30Â will be considered at the May 14Â board meeting
Applicants should ensure their principal and/or supervisor is aware of the grant request and has approved it prior to submission.
What happens after submission?
The BFEPE Board reviews and selects grants for funding at each meeting. Grant recipients are then surprised in front of their students as part of our Prize Patrol celebrations.
We are grateful for the creativity and dedication of our educators and look forward to supporting ideas that enhance learning experiences for students across the district.
